Timely rainfall saves crops from heat damage

A few inches of welcome rain fell on the weekend after many days of dry hot weather. Crops, including the hay crop, were beginning to show signs of damage due to the dry conditions.

Our best wishes to Lyle Sutherland who left Waseca during the past weekend to make his home in Chilliwack, B.C. His house has already been sold to a new resident, Tracy Miller, who is busy doing some renovations on it.

In addition to loving my husband and family I love country music and this weekend we have a fantastic time. Who needs Craven when you have the Carlton Trail Jamboree at Rabbit Lake? This festival is all Canadian country music.
