It would seem that fall is now behind us and we have embarked on another winter. At least, by the amount of snow and by the low reading on the thermometer, it would seem that way.

The Ministry of Highways gave the school some dirt to fix up the in need soccer field. Teacher Ryan Nickel is a teacher who is coaching one of the soccer teams. He was trying to get the school soccer field into shape for the students.

The award winners in the poetry, poster and essay contest, sponsored by the Neilburg/Marsden branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, were announced Nov. 11 at the ceremonies held in the Neilburg Community Hall.

The Borden senior boys' volleyball team won the regional play downs at Medstead, Nov. 19, going through undefeated. They now advance to provincials in Broadview this weekend, along with Glaslyn who were second in the region.
