There was a small crowd to hear a big voice in Marysburg last week as the 11th season of the Marysburg Summer Festival of the Arts got underway.

It was a daunting task, distilling 100 years of history into one book. But as has been the case throughout their history in the Humboldt area, once again the Sisters of St. Elizabeth got by with a little help from their friends.

The St. Peter's Chorus held their annual spring concert at St. Augustine Church in Humboldt on April 17, Palm Sunday.

Over 600 dancers took over the Humboldt Uniplex for the 2011 On Stage Dance Festival, held April 15-17.

They haven't decided which path to take, but they have been given input to help make that decision.

They've found more questions than answers so far, but they will work on reversing that this summer.

The community of Hafford has hosted an annual music festival for 49 years. The festival is where many talented musicians and vocalists compete for scholarships, trophies and potentially an opportunity to advance to the next level of competition.
