Skiers were carving up the trails at Carlton Trail Ski Club Jan. 24, as the club hosted the Sask Cup #3 cross-country skiing race. The race brought out 65 competitors in 23 different events and skiers ranged in age from 4- 64 years old.

Stars split weekend against Notre Dame
It’s not a secret that the Stars are one of the hottest teams in the SMAAAHL. After splitting a series against the third place Moose Jaw Generals, they were at it again in Notre Dame. Coming into the weekend, the Stars were 5-1 in January.
