The Battlefords Stars came up short of the SMAAAHL championship. The Stars dropped game four of the best-of-five series 3-2 to the Notre Dame Argos at the Civic Centre Saturday afternoon, giving the Argos a 3-1 series win.

Pashovitz named Rookie of the Year, playoff game to be played in Warman
Ryland Pashovitz was named the SJHL's Rookie of the Year on March 24. The 18-year-old Saskatoon native burst onto the scene this year, posting an 18-8-3 record with five shutouts. Pashovitz also recorded what is believed to be an SJHL record 1.
