The Battlefords Midget Stars were looking for some redemption against the Prince Albert Mintos Wednesday, but that wasn't the case at the Civic Centre.

The Battlefords AAA Sharks tried to kept their games on the weekend close, but returned home without a win after facing the sixth place Melville Prairie Fire. The Sharks faced off with Melville losing 5-2 and 6-1 on the road trip.

The Battlefords Midget Stars played three games in four nights and earned a win against perhaps the most unlikely of the three opponents.
