Like every service club, they are looking for membership. Anyone can join and meetings are held the first and third Thursdays of the month, beginning in September. They take a break during the summer months, but this does not mean they are not working on things for the up-and-coming year.

The public also got a first hand look at the police vehicles, as well as Carlyle RCMP鈥檚 famous Bed and Breakfast.聽 Plenty of photos and fun was had by everyone who attended.聽聽聽聽

Regarding the building of the sound booth, Carlyle District Lions would also like to salute the efforts of Dale Brady, who captained the construction in his shop on the family farm.

Jen Henderson put a committee together to hold a fundraiser on Brittnee鈥檚 behalf. Burgers For Brittnee was the result and the date was set for June 19.
