The Kenosee Lake Kitchen Party has become a must attend event in southeast Saskatchewan, which has been growing and evolving over the past 11 years.

The Souris Valley Theatre鈥檚 inaugural Bordertown Bootleggers Run attracted a variety of participants, but it didn鈥檛 have as many people as organizers wanted. The event took place on Aug. 6 at sites in and around Estevan.

The two main stage shows at the Souris Valley (SV) Theatre鈥檚 Frehlick Hall attracted good crowds this summer. Approximately 1,100 people attended the musical comedy Chickens, which ran from July 6 to 9 and July 12 to 16.

David Dyck, the associate curator for the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum (EAGM), admits it was a challenge to bring together the current exhibits at the EAGM. After all, there aren鈥檛 many artists who bring art and sport into their works.
