The annual celebration of the Ukrainian New Year鈥檚, Malanka, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23 at McKenna Hall in Weyburn, hosted by the Weyburn and District Ukrainian Canadian Cultural group.

Students of White Bear Education Complex (WBEC) hosted their annual Christmas Concert on Friday, Dec. 18, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.

For the second year in a row Manor School hosted a talent show on Friday, Dec. 18, with students from each grade participating in the activity. Performing in front of a gym filled with family and friends, students showcased a variety of talents.

The 32nd annual James Weir Peoples鈥� Choice Exhibition, Weyburn鈥檚 most popular art show, begins its yearly run on Jan. 6, at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery. The annual competition will wrap up with a reception and presentation of awards on Feb.

Arcola School hosted its annual Christmas concert on Thursday, Dec. 17, at both 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Audiences at both times were thoroughly entertained by the students who had put a lot of hard work and effort into their performances.

Wawota School students and playschool youth worked hard for to bring together the annual Christmas Concert, which was hosted on Wednesday, Dec. 16. The gymnasium was filled with friends and family members, all there to support the youth performing.
