The Alexandria Rebekah Lodge of Weyburn host international dignitaries for the Â鶹´«Ã½AVeast Rebekah Rally at the Captain's Hall on Oct. 20.

Weyburn is in for a treat. Memory Lane: A Tribute to the 40's, 50's and 60's will take the stage November 24 at the Weyburn Comprehensive School Cafetorium.

The Weyburn Group Home Society will be hosting a 'Haunted House' on October 30 and 31. Volunteers have been busy scaring up a space for younger children to take part in Halloween festivities and crafts from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.

On Monday, October 22, the Canadian Cancer Society will present a Fashion Show Extravaganza at City Centre Mall beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The Weyburn Crocus Quilt Guild will be offering a unique show on October 27. Anna Hergert, an award winning fabric artist from Buffalo Pound, will be in Weyburn offering a trunk show entitled, 'Choosing Creativity'.

Queen Elizabeth School students bring out bags of donated food to the tractor and trailer parked in front of the school picking up the donations, for the "Drive Away Hunger" campaign to help the Salvation Army's Food Bank on Thursday.

Council candidate Dick Michel has a visit with Dave Kerr and his wife during the intermission of the all-candidates forum held Thursday evening at McKenna Hall.

Culture Week took place in Weyburn and across Canada during the last week of September.

The Weyburn Twirlers Square Dance Club will begin regular square dancing for the year on Thursday, October 18, downstairs at Grace United Church beginning at 7:30 p.m. Bob and Marian Lees from Estevan will be doing the calling duties.
