The 2020 Municipal World Awards of Distinction were recently announced and the City of Weyburn was honoured with the 2020 Municipal Video of the Year award.

The video was shortlisted to the top five videos chosen from across the country by Municipal World, a national magazine devoted to promoting effective municipal government, and voted on by Municipal World members.

The City of Weyburn appreciates the recognition and is thrilled that its campaign to educate its residents on the city鈥檚 recycling program resonated with so many people outside of its community.
