EPS investigating a stolen truck

The stolen truck is described as a red 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 with Saskatchewan license plate 786 KCT.

ESTEVAN — The Estevan Police Service is investigating the theft of a truck.

In a news release, the EPS said it received a report of a stolen vehicle during the June 23 nightshift. The stolen vehicle is described as a red 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 with Saskatchewan licence plate 786 KCT. 

If members of the public observe the vehicle, please report its location and any other information available to the EPS at 306-634-4767 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Meanwhile, three young children were observed locked in a vehicle at a parking lot in west Estevan June 23. A parent was located and spoken to regarding concerns for leaving the children unattended.

The EPS received an update regarding an ongoing criminal harassment complaint. The matter is still under investigation and criminal charges are pending.

Police received a driving complaint in relation to a vehicle coming into the city at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was located and the driver was determined to have a suspended license. An offence ticket was issued for driving while suspended and he was cautioned regarding the observed driving actions.
