Johnny Witzke spent three seasons with the Estevan Bruins, and is in his fourth season with the University of Mary Marauders.

The Weyburn Lacrosse Association had over 40 children, from three up to 16 come out on Wednesday evening to try out the sport of lacrosse, in a free tryout session at Weyburn's Credit Union Spark Centre. The children were divided up into younger and older age groups, and were given a variety of fun drills to see what it's like to play the sport.

The inaugural Futsal game saw Team Saskatoon play Team Parkland Valley on Court 1.

On the ice, Tanner Brown of the Regina Pats doesn't mind getting under the skin of his opposition to get an advantage. Off the ice, the 20-year-old defenceman has several friends on his former squads.

Curling, hockey and ringette are all off to semi finals today.

This yearly curling bonspiel was started in the late 1940s.

Estevan will now play Swift Current in the next round.

Ede will compete at nationals in Quebec in late March and early April.
