The Estevan Sharks are looking forward to their home tournament on Sunday, but it won't be their first tournament of the season:

Carlyle's high school was fifth in the 3A division thanks to its results.

Bill Kapiczowski's rink, competing out of Estevan, went 2-0 on Thursday.

Carlyle team went 8-0 to win the tournament.

Last summer, WHL goalie Drew Sim focused himself on improving his game more than he had before, spending his time in the gym, on the ice and with his goalie coach. As of Wednesday, he has a perfect 5-0-0-0 on the season with a 2.38 goals against average, a .913 save percentage and a shutout.

Unfortunately, the end result was not in the Rebels’ favour, with the Thunder taking an 8-3 win from the hometown boys.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League attracts players from all over. Players not only come from Saskatchewan, but from all over the country and even the U.S.
