This weekend the junior girls' basketball team will be in Fillmore and the senior girls in Caronport for tournaments. The senior boys are hosting a small tournament. The curling teams will be hosting a bonspiel.

Victor Emmanuel Prieb of Melville, beloved husband of Diane, entered his eternal rest on Tuesday November 20, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital in Melville at the age of 78 years with family by his side.

Despite a turbulent week in Portland, there was good news for Derrick Pouliot. He, along with teammates Tyler Wotherspoon and Ty Rattie were invited to the Team Canada selection camp for the World Junior Championship. The camp will begin on Dec. 10.

Three rinks with Weyburn athletes will be competing at the junior men's and women's provincials. Both the junior men's and women's provincials will be held at the Weyburn Curling Rink on January 3 to 7, 2013.
