The day was sunny and hot, bringing out many families to see the vendors of artists and crafts people, plus non-profit groups had booths, with a barbecue by the Weyburn Humane Society, and golf ball drop tickets available from the Rotary Club.

Weyburn's Regional 4-H Show ends with fed calf, sheep and goat sale

The 81st 4-H Interclub Fed Calf, Sheep and Goat sale was held on Wednesday afternoon to wrap up Weyburn's Regional 4-H Show, which began on July 2 with the Light Horse Show. There were 111 fed calves on the auction block, as well as five market lambs and one market goat. The sale began with the Grand Champion steer, sold by Rylan Fladeland of the Radville Beef Club, and the Reserve Champion by Sadie Davidson, who also had the Best Homegrown Steer.
