Occupants of a home on Douglas Road were safely evacuated as a fire broke out on Friday evening, heavily damaging the residence.

A Walk for Reconciliation was held on Friday in Jubilee Park, to mark National Truth and Reconciliation Day in Weyburn, with information posts about the "treaty timeline" along the way. The walk, a Culture Days event, was introduced by Regan Lanning of the Weyburn Arts Board, who did the research and compiling of information about the timeline from before Europeans arrived through to the present day.

Residents were invited to the Collabartive Studio for a session on feather art, on Friday, to mark National Truth and Reconciliation Day in Weyburn.

Students from Fillmore, Stoughton and Ocean Man First Nations participated.

A mural of a medicine wheel was created for Culture Days in Weyburn, with copes to go to elementary schools and one will be at the Spark Centre.
