Weyburn Ladies Bonspiel rocks it 80s style

The Weyburn Curling Rink held their annual Ladies Bonspiel on Friday and Saturday, with eight rinks taking part. There was an 80s theme for the bonspiel with prizes for the best-dressed team. The A final was won by the "Just Wanna Rock" team over Pink Ladiez, with team member Robin Stetler throwing the winning tie-breaker shot.

Mild weather over the last weekend of January allowed Weyburn residents of all ages to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, on the sledding hill and at the outdoor rink. The sledding hill has a new addition, as the Weyburn Oilwomen installed a sled lending centre for anyone who wants to go tobogganing but don't have their own sled.
