A late-season thunderstorm brought lots of rain and lightning to Weyburn and area on Thursday evening, the second night in a row the skies were lit up with a severe thunderstorm.

The Weyburn Senior Men鈥檚 Golf group held their windup on Sept. 10.

The new cell phone policy put into place by the Ministry of Education for the new school year has not caused any problems so far in the Holy Family school division.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon over northeastern Montana and will track northeast towards the watch area this evening.
