While Saskatchewan鈥檚 COVID-19 case trends are relatively stable, case rates continue to create significant, on-going community transmission and increasing pressure on health care services.

The City of Weyburn teamed up with a few different community organizations to collect food for the Salvation Army of Weyburn. Each city facility was teamed with an organization in which that facility has some connection or works with.

Liza Sarmiento, manager of the McDonald鈥檚 Restaurant in聽Weyburn , was awarded the 2020 Outstanding Manager of the Year award from McDonald鈥檚 Canada. This award recognizes the top performing managers across the country.

Three residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died. Two (2) new deaths in the group 80+ were reported in Saskatoon and one (1) new death in the age group 70-79 was reported in Regina.

Weyburn鈥檚 Police Chief Jamie Blunden wants to have a good, close working relationship with the Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division, and pledged that his officers will be available to provide that link.
