Standing in front the Saskatchewan Polytechnic campus in Moose Jaw on Oct. 2, Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe promised to increase the Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship by 50 per cent, from $500 to $750 per year.

As part of the Saskatchewan Party鈥檚 focus on 鈥渁ffordability鈥� in this election, Leader Scott Moe announced on Oct. 1 that if re-elected, a Saskatchewan Party government will provide a one-year, 10 per cent rebate on electricity charges for SaskPower.

The Weyburn Curling Club will hold two days for registrations for the coming curling season, which is scheduled to get underway on Nov. 2. The registration evenings will be held on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5 and 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.
