The Richardson Pioneer Red Wings have begun a new fundraiser, 鈥淕athering Grains鈥�, to assist the Junior A hockey club in their operations as they gear up for a new hockey season that is as yet uncertain.

With two doctors gone from Weyburn and another two due to leave by the end of August, the Saskatchewan Health Authority has indicated they are working to find replacements, and will provide locum physicians to help cover the shortage in the meantime.

Weyburn police have received several calls regarding a Service Canada phone call scam. The computerized voice on the phone indicated that there is a warrant for the person鈥檚 arrest and to press 1 for further information.
