The Government of Saskatchewan announced that all classes in Saskatchewan pre K-12 schools will be suspended indefinitely, effective Friday, March 20, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

While concern over spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 continues to rise, the risk in Saskatchewan still remains low but is increasing. The decision to close schools is聽made upon the advice聽of the provincial Chief Medical Health Officer.

Weyburn photographer-artist Chris Borshowa opened a new exhibit of photos, entitled, 鈥淗ow to Destroy Demons鈥�, at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery on Friday evening. The show will be on until Wednesday, April 22.

Weyburn鈥檚 Special Olympics bowling team travelled to Thunder Bay, Ont., to take part in the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games in February, and returned with good memories and two singles medals.

The Weyburn Short Mat Bowling Club has had a successful first season to get established, and the members decided to continue until Thursday, April 9, before winding down for the season.
