Recently, Blanche Nichol achieved a milestone celebrating her 100th birthday.
Blanche Tulloch was born July 11, 1914 in Invermay. After growing up on the family farm she attended the University of Saskatchewan for a year then attended teachers college and began teaching at Guernsey, then moved to Saginaw School at Radisson. She married William Nichol and they raised six children. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She has lived in various communities throughout her 100 years - Saskatoon, Borden, Central Butte, Marquis, Hanley, Broderick, Outlook and now North Battleford. Family and friends gathered in North Battleford July 12 to celebrate her 100th birthday.
