Events for kids, ages five to 12, at upcoming rodeo, during intermissions
Things have been a bit slow this summer. The annual indoor rodeo will be taking place Aug. 21-23 with the amateur bull riding taking place on the Thursday evening. Entries have been filled for this event.

Lil McMillan enjoyed the McMillan family reunion at Silver Lake this weekend. She enjoyed seeing the family members from all over. Tillie Linkert was to Loon Lake with her three girls for August long weekend, leaving Friday and getting home Monday.

More than 300 people will volunteer at the Battlefords Agricultural Society's 127th annual Northwest Territorial Days this week. Doug Dunlop, 67, has been one of those volunteers for about 45 years.
