From +27 C to -27 C and catching up on the local news
My wife and I boarded the plane Feb. 11 at 27 C, a pleasant ocean breeze and palm trees waving their goodbyes. Eight hours later we landed to -27 C with a fresh westerly wind, snowflakes falling and snow banks as a welcome back.
