Perfect harvest weather is what we are enjoying and the harvest is progressing well. We can just hope there is a continuation of this weather for some time. School has been in session for a couple of weeks now.

It has been so dry and hot in the local area for some time, but it's ideal weather for the haymakers to finish up their winter supply of bales, and all in dry condition. Many grass areas and hay meadows have been cut and are all baled up.

Visiting with Vic and Bev Hult recently were Stefan Neilsen and Karoline Mortensen from Denmark. Stefan was a trainee at the Hult farm in 2008. While here they visited many family and friends in the area.

Compassion or convenience. The Living Sky School Board is seeing some members moving away from black and white decisions when it comes to requests for bus route changes. But in one of the most recent requests, black and white continued to win out.

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Education has awarded 2013 General Proficiency Awards to 15 students from Living Sky School Division.

Wow! What is with this fall? Here it is the middle of September and no frost to report. That doesn't happen very often in this part of the province.

The Manitou Pioneers Museum in Neilburg was the site of a Fall Family Fun Day Sept 7 as they played host to approximately 200 guests. Children were welcomed with a loot bag of assorted goodies.

Enrolment throughout the Living Sky School Division has turned out to be greater than what was projected.

A wish a week. That's about how often the Children's Wish Foundation grants a wish to a Saskatchewan child dealing with a life-threatening illness.

Dorothy Kissick attended the 40th wedding anniversary for Gerald and Marie Hartman Saturday. After they visited with Joan Kissick. Colleen Koski was on a shopping trip to Lloydminster Monday.
