Letter to the Editor

If these past months of COVID-enforced semi-isolation have done anything, they鈥檝e created in me an addiction to crossword puzzles. And, if doing crossword puzzles has reminded me of anything, it鈥檚 that words have various functions.

What a mammoth storm we had across the prairies. For those of us who watch the weather radar maps, our latest blizzard was interesting.

Ed asked me a questionethat has no definite answer. We were talking about the increase in COVID-19 cases across Canada yesterday. I said, 鈥淲ith this second wave of COVID, we will need the patience of Job in the days ahead.

It is November. We here at Turtleford Baptist Church want to thank each of you who make the choice of worshiping God with us on Sunday mornings a priority. We know some of you drive quite a distance and that is a sacrifice.
