Dear Editor Saskatchewan Youth Parliament is looking for alumni (including former members of Older Boys' Parliament) to celebrate 100 years of leadership. The celebration and reunion will take place Aug. 17-19 at the Travelodge 麻豆传媒AV in Regina.

It seems everyone is in search of the infamous six pack. Many people spend hours a week in the gym doing gruelling abdominal exercises hoping for an ab or two to pop through.

I want to send a very big bouquet to Battlefords MLA Herb Cox for taking the time to read the article about Flight Corporal Jason Reimer, who was on his way to the National Biathlon Competition in Halifax from March 3 to 10.

Dear Editor Nature Canada is looking for people in your community to take part in an important, but fun, program called PlantWatch.

Sometimes, the simplest question sets Ed, my neighbour next door, off on an intense ramble. This happened when I asked him if he saw the movie Hunger Games.

The saga of my "sort and toss" crusade continues. This week the focus has been on cookbooks and cooking themed magazines and, while it's going well, as I head into the home stretch I notice that some recipes no longer have the same attraction.

My favourite thing about spring is seeing people I haven't run into for a while.

I totally agree with the editorial "Time To Pay Attention"(Humboldt Journal, March 28, 2012). I am surprised that you would have gotten flack from the City on the roundabout idea. Obviously, they hadn't given any thought to that idea at all.

We're going to lose the penny. After 104 years, the Canadian penny will be phased out this year. I'm not quite sure how I feel about that yet.

We West Coast dwellers have had to eat mounds of humble pie this winter. The weather's been lousy, eliminating all climate-related bragging rights.
