Police ask for public's help following shooting

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on June 7, police were called to the 800 block of 12 Street West for a report of a male who had been stabbed.

PRINCE ALBERT - Prince Albert police are investigating following a shooting that occurred Saturday night.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on June 7, police were called to the 800 block of 12 Street West for a report of a male who had been stabbed.

White en route, further information stated the male was actually shot.

Arriving officers located an injured male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.

Officers rendered first aid before Parkland Ambulance arrived on scene and transported the man to hospital for further treatment.

Police are continuing to investigate this shooting.
