Weyburn students take in Ag Safety Day demos, displays

Grades 4 and 5 students from Weyburn's elementary schools attended the annual Ag Safety Day presentations at the Weyburn Curling Rink on Wednesday. Demonstrations and exhibits relayed safety messages around tractors, lawn mowers, animals, bicycles, along with safety around chemicals and in the sun. Grade 4 classes attended the morning sessions, and Grade 5 classes took in the afternoon ones. All students also had the chance to make a first aid kit with the assistance of the Weyburn EMS.
