Members of the Weyburn Arts Council painted their first mural in Jubilee Park on Saturday, the beginning of a multi-year project to have all of the dugouts in the park painted with a mural. Logan Mainil provided the design of this first mural, and he also suggested the idea of doing murals in Jubilee Park.

Five Grade 9 Health classes from the Weyburn Comprehensive School did up drug information posters, as part of the end of their unit on drugs and alcohol, and 54 posters were put up on the fence for the tennis courts at Jubilee Park on Friday, so people walking through the park can read the information the students put together
