A Saskatchewan resident in their 60s has died from complications related to COVID-19, the chief medical heatlh officer reported on Saturday. The death took place in Regina. The province now has four deaths related to the virus.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) reminds residents to continue to access available emergency departments (EDs) and hospitals for the care patients need. Local EDs and hospitals remain safe places for individuals to go for acute care services.

The SHA and Ministry of health, along with other health partners are actively monitoring current supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across the health system.
