In spite of the chilly weather, a group of residents gathered at the cenotaph at the town hall in Canora for the annual Remembrance Day service, to pay tribute to those who have served Canada.

Linda Banga of Canora and her seven-year-old mare Banga’s Keeva were victorious in the first Clydesdale Breeders Cup competition at the Grain Millers Harvest Showdown in Yorkton on November 2.

Just a week after hosting and winning its own tournament at Canora Composite School (CCS), the Canora Cougars senior girls volleyball team saw its season come to an abrupt and unexpected conclusion on the team’s home court.

Keri Gardner has continued her fight to get the help her husband Rod requires to get better. The couple’s journey has been a long battle that started nearly a year ago.

Wendel Clark, former Toronto Maple Leaf player, was honoured with a special day that featured the raising of his banner at the Kelvington Recreation Arena on October 21.

A group of Canora Composite School students, accompanied by Paul Geerdts, teacher, visited the University of Regina (U of R) yearly Engineering Expo on October 11.

After extensive renovations to the Canora Civic Centre over the last 18 months or so, those using the facility since it opened for the winter season have been taking advantage of the changes.
