I would like to give a swift boot to the person who has not returned my daughter's dog, taken from Day's Beach July 14.

Today I got to do two of my three most favourite things - weed the garden and hang clothes on the line.

We had a nice rain Thursday night with one inch to two inches recorded. Those of you who remember me saying there will be no more rain until August, well I guess I was wrong.

In the weather we are in a pattern of hot during the day and then some thunder boomers and a light rain shower at night. At least we didn't get what other places have had, plow winds and hail.

There have now been 37 confirmed deaths in the Lac-Mégantic train disaster. As bodies continue to be pulled out of the devastated downtown area, the scale of the disaster only grows.
