Over the week of Jan. 7-13, the Weyburn Police Service responded to 91 calls for service. Police received a report of damage done to a building on Souris Valley grounds between Dec. 22 and Jan. 7.

The Weyburn Branch of the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society is asking the public's help with their current project for Weyburn's 100th anniversary. They are collecting pictures of Weyburn to be put on DVD, which will be made available for sale.

Ulla Bjorn Aamundsen late of Weyburn, passed away January 4, 2013 at the age of 77 years. She was born on March 27, 1935 in Norresyndry, Denmark and raised here with a family of four brothers and four sisters.
